Horizon Lecture Series
Horizon Lectures are one-hour evening presentations by leaders in science, medicine, and business. The lecture series is free and open to anyone with an interest in the challenges of biomedical imaging discovery, and its translation to clinical application. Each lecture is followed by a networking and social hour with light refreshments. Horizon Lectures are posted in the News and Events section as they are confirmed.
Biomedical imaging mini-courses
Mini-courses are introductions to current technologies and techniques in biomedical imaging, taught by international leaders in translational research. Courses may be by invitation or open to the biomedical research community. New courses are posted on this site as they are confirmed.
IDEA² Madrid
IDEA² Madrid, launched in Madrid spring 2012, is a mentored innovation program designed to help researchers identify, define, enable, and accelerate innovative research. Learn more +
Travel grants for members
The objective of the Travel Grants is to facilitate collaborations that have been seeded during the Open House. These collaborations can be for research or education. We anticipate that outcomes from the travel will range from plans for joint grant submission, workshop proposals, short courses, etc. Learn more +

Incubadora de Ideas (Ideas Incubator)
The M+Visión Consortium co-sponsors Incubadora de Ideas (The Ideas Incubator), a monthly event of the Hospital Clínico Innovation Unit. The Incubator brings together health professionals, scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs and public leaders in a multidisciplinary dialogue to identify high-value opportunities for collaborative innovation.
